MIDWEST REGIONAL BANK DISTRIBUTES $47,513 TO LOCAL SCHOOLS

Festus, MO – January 15, 2019

Midwest Regional Bank has made its annual charitable donations to local schools. This year, the bank distributed 347 checks to teachers, coaches and support staff at 33 schools in Jefferson County. The donations totaled $49,513, bringing the program’s total donations to over $300,000 since inception.

Each fall, Midwest Regional Bank invites all local schools to request funds for anything that will enrich their students’ learning environment. Teachers and support staff are asked to submit their requests to the bank in September. In October, MWRBank allocates and distributes checks to provide the programs, equipment, supplies and services that are needed most.  The donations provide for such things as classroom supplies, athletic equipment, incentive programs, library books, STEM support, art supplies and new technology.
